Webinar | Engaging with Faith Actors: Why Does It Matter?

Faith actors can have significant influence on community norms, family decision-making, and the networks that support and protect children and families. For child protection practitioners, understanding how to engage with this influence effectively and meaningfully can be an important part of strengthening protection outcomes for children.

The Alliance is pleased share this conversation with Islamic Relief and Arigatou International exploring experiences, challenges, and opportunities in engaging with faith actors.

This interactive webinar provided a space for child protection practitioners to reflect on their experiences working with influential faith and community actors, exchange learning, and discuss what meaningful engagement can look like in different contexts. The conversation also helped inform thinking around future Alliance guidance on engaging with faith actors.

This webinar was held in English with interpretation in French, Spanish, and Arabic.
